On the evening of July 17th the YCDC hosted a Pool Party at the Warfield Public Swimming Pool for youths age 13 to 18 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Admission to the pool was 100% free! DJ Tim Hoppe-Carrera kicked off the party with some loud music and lots of good food filled the tables. Fun prizes were given out for the biggest splash, best cannonball, best dive or bellyflop, and for the participant able to hold their breath the longest underwater. The waterslide was open all night for use. Even YCDC Coordinator Bridget couldn't help but try it out! By the time 9:30 rolled around everyone had smiles on their faces.

YCDC's second Pool Party is coming up at the Rossland Public Swimming Pool on August 22nd which is part of Rossfest Weekend. Admission is FREE and all youths 13-18 are invited!
