Art Night

Art Night is YCDC’s longest running and most popular program.  Combining structured art instruction with fun and educational activities, art night is a chance for you to express yourself through a variety of mediums - pencil drawings, cartooning, acrylic painting, photography and everything in between.  Come experiment, make mistakes and share your creativity with a group of diverse youth.

Local artist Christine Goertzen brings 15 years of experience to YCDC’s Art Night.  A self-taught artist, Christine developed a pilot art program that is used in schools throughout Saskatchewan.  Christine always has an interesting and fun project planned – but you are always able to work on your own project as well.  Along with Christine, other local artists will come to show youth their work, speaking about being a working artist and demonstrate new techniques and mediums. 

Art Night is a free program for all youth who attend.
